I'm glad we weren't the only ones! Are you in the UK? I'm desperate to know how US audiences found it, as this kind of comedy doesn't always translate well over here (though it's not done well at the box office either — so much so it'll be lucky to break even).
I'm UK based. Just couldn't fathom why all the 'humour' seemed to derive from their sexuality. It had Thelma & Louise aspirations, but didn't deliver. Beanie was fab, as always, of course
Oh yes, this is a big Thelma-and-Louise-wannabe movie... And, without spoiling it for other readers, I still don't understand why the bad guys did what they did to Pedro Pascal for the contents of that briefcase... it just doesn't make sense!
I don't know if it's meant to be a commentary on sex, masculinity or something… all I know is that Ethan Coen shouldn't be co-writing and directing queer comedies.
